Sven Limps On
Sven-Goran Eriksson remains England manager after the Football Association decided he had no case to answer over his affair with secretary Faria Alam.
An FA statement read: "In the case of Sven-Goran Eriksson, the board decided on the basis of the report and on legal advice that there is no case for him to answer."
"This entire episode has been regrettable for the reputation of football in this country."
The news comes as no surprise as the FA would have been forced to settle Eriksson's £14m contract had they relieved him of his duties.
